To find out which one came out the victor, keep reading below!

2021 INFINITI QX50 Power & Handling

When it comes to power, the INFINITI QX50 knows what it’s doing. Each model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces up to 268 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. INFINITI pairs this engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission for smooth shifting no matter the terrain or weather conditions. While front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is available for all trim levels.

2021 Lexus NX Power & Handling

Under the hood of every NX model is the same engine. Drivers will lift up the hood to find a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates up to 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Lexus pairs this engine with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

2021 INFINITI QX50 Features & Design

Drivers can choose from four Q50 trim levels. They include the Pure, Luxe, Essential, Sensory, and Autograph. Features found throughout the trims include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, a six-speaker sound system, a dual-screen infotainment system, keyless entry and ignition, power-adjustable front seats, LED headlights, automatic dual-zone climate control, a power liftgate, and simulated leather upholstery. The upper trim levels add remote engine start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, navigation, a 16-speaker sound system, adaptive headlights, a hands-free liftgate, and so much more!

2021 Lexus NX Features & Design

The NX is offered in three trim levels, the base, F Sport, and Luxury. Standard features include an eight-speaker sound system, Apple and Android smartphone integration, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable front seats, and simulated leather upholstery. The upper trim levels add more aggressively bolstered seats, special exterior styling elements, a power liftgate, navigation, heated and ventilated front seats, adaptive suspension dampers, and a 14-speaker Mark Levinson premium sound system.

After carefully reviewing what both of these SUVs have to offer, it is clear that you should be driving home behind a 2021 INFINITI QX50. The Lexus NX really tried to keep up with a decent engine and some good features but overall it just didn’t have what it takes.
